After 6 incredible years with AOMS, our artistic director, Megan Brenneman, will be stepping aside to pursue other personal and professional projects.
Megan has been instrumental in growing AOMS, seeing us through the COVID shutdown, and helping us work towards our values of inclusivity, accessibility, and community. Megan has influenced hundreds of singers over these 6 years, and we can’t wait to see what she does next. All of us at AOMS wish Megan the best, but we will miss you! We’d also like to announce the appointment of Mary-Catherine Pazzano as AOMS’ new artistic director, effective May 1, 2024. Mary-Catherine (MC), has sung with AOMS in the past and is a passionate musician, music educator, vocal coach, and more! We look forward to working with MC to continue delivering the incredible choir experience AOMS is known for! Thank you for everything, Megan, and Welcome, Mary-Catherine. We love this full circle photo of the co-founder of AOMS, Nancy Kidd alongside Megan and MC! Past, present, and future all in one photo A note from Megan: "It has given me great joy to have worked with Age of Majority Singers over the past six years. As I say farewell, I am so grateful to the many singers who have shared their gifts over the years and to the Board of Directors for their dedication, volunteering countless hours to support the ongoing operations of the choir. This choir is a place of belonging and hope; a place to explore all that makes us human and whole. May the beauty of music and connection continue as a new chapter begins!"
