Land Acknowledgement
Age of Majority Singers acknowledge that the land on which we rehearse and perform is located on the Haldimand Tract, within the traditional and unceded territories of the Haudenosaunee, Anishnaabe and Neutral peoples.
As we gather on these lands we have a responsibility to honour and respect the four directions, land, water, plants, and animals, and recognize the First Nation, Métis, and Inuit peoples from across Turtle Island who continue to live and work on these lands.
Acknowledging them is the first step of our obligation and commitment to allyship, equitability, truth and reconciliation.
