Pending capacity, we audition new members two times per year:
August/September - Fall Season (Sept-Dec)
December/January - Winter/Spring Season (Jan-May)
REGISTRATION FOR OUR SPRING 2026 SEASON IS NOW OPEN!
We are accepting audition sign ups for a limited number of new singers for January 2026. Our season begins on January 7, 2026, rehearsals are Wednesday evening from 7:15-9:15pm at Knox Presbyterian in Waterloo. Auditions will consist of a quick range check, a few warmup scales and then approx. 1 minute of an a capella song (of your choice). Auditions will take place on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 from 6:30pm-7:15pm at Knox Presbyterian in Waterloo.

General Choir Info
Membership FeesWe strive to keep our choir fees reasonable. Our membership fee is $120 per term, or $240 for the full season (September - April/May). If you would like to participate but are concerned about membership fees, please reach out to discuss our fee assistance program.

Rehearsals & PerformancesMembers are expected to attend weekly rehearsals which take place on Wednesday evenings from 7:15-9:15pm at Knox Presbyterian (50 Erb St W) in Waterloo. Members are also expected to attend our 2-3 concerts each term. Some memorization of music and light choreography as needed.

Fundraising & SponsorshipsAs a not-for-profit organization, and an arts groups that strives to be affordable for all, we hold regular fundraisers throughout the year. Fundraisers are not mandatory, but members are encouraged to help with fundraisers by selling to friends/family, and/or sharing social media posts from AOMS.
