Pending capacity, we audition new members two times per year:
August/September - Fall Season (Sept-Dec)
December/January - Winter/Spring Season (Jan-May)

We are currently at capacity for new singers. Please check back in August 2026 to see if we are accepting new singers for our Fall 2026 season.

General Choir Info

Membership Fees

We strive to keep our choir fees reasonable. Our membership fee is $120 per term, or $240 for the full season (September - April/May). If you would like to participate but are concerned about membership fees, please reach out to discuss our fee assistance program.

Rehearsals & Performances

Members are expected to attend weekly rehearsals which take place on Wednesday evenings from 7:15-9:15pm at Knox Presbyterian (50 Erb St W) in Waterloo. Members are also expected to attend our 2-3 concerts each term. Some memorization of music and light choreography as needed.

Fundraising & Sponsorships

As a not-for-profit organization, and an arts groups that strives to be affordable for all, we hold regular fundraisers throughout the year. Fundraisers are not mandatory, but members are encouraged to help with fundraisers by selling to friends/family, and/or sharing social media posts from AOMS.
